Posted in Announcements

Dahlgren Memorial Library (DML) is pleased to announce the expansion of Open Access author support for 2022.

In 2021, DML’s partnership with the Public Library of Science (PLOS) resulted in waived author publication fees for PLOS Medicine and PLOS Biology articles.

In 2022, Georgetown University Medical Center authors will have waived author publication fees for all PLOS journals. This program is available to GUMC students, faculty, researchers and staff, and individuals employed by the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

PLOS publishes the following peer-reviewed, Open Access journals covering the full spectrum of the sciences and medicine.

PLOS Biology
PLOS Climate
PLOS Computational Biology
PLOS Digital Health
PLOS Genetics
PLOS Global Public Health
PLOS Medicine
PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases
PLOS ONE
PLOS Pathogens
PLOS Sustainability and Transformation
PLOS Water

Georgetown University Medical Center Authors should state their affiliation with Georgetown University Medical Center when submitting a paper and within their ORCID profile to benefit from this agreement.

Thank you to Dr George Luta and Dr Lee Jones for the assistance with and support of this expanded service.
