Dahlgren Memorial Library is proud to provide the Eisenberg Collection, a carefully curated selection of books that nurture both the professional and personal growth of current and future health care providers and researchers.  This distinctive collection spans literature, philosophy, history, and other fields that broaden understanding beyond clinical and scientific study.  It encourages reflection, empathy,  lifelong learning, and intellectual wellness, making it an enduring resource for professional and personal enrichment.

Many of the books were chosen by members of the GUMC community through the READ program , ensuring the collection reflects the shared interests and insights of those it serves.
