Make an impact with unused books

Posted in Announcements

If you are a member of the GUMC community and have books in your home or office that are no longer needed, consider bringing them to DML. DML is partnering with the Better World Books company who will sell, donate or recycle the items. A portion of each sale funds literacy grants supporting the needs of libraries and non-profits serving literacy and education in communities in the U.S. and abroad. And, with every book sold, Better World Books donates a book. There is no cost to DML or donors to participate.

Interested in participating?

Please review the materials that will be accepted below.
If you are donating less than 10 books, stop by DML during opening hours (currently 8am -3:30pm) and give them to a library staff member. Please leave your name and email if you wish to have a letter of receipt emailed to you. For larger donations, please contact dmlresources@georgetown.edu to make arrangements.
