Update April 2021:
PLOS Biology now joins PLOS Medicine in the DML-PLOS Community Action Publishing (CAP) pilot program. GUMC PLOS Biology authors can now take advantage of this partnership to have article publication fees waived. Non-GUMC co-authors will enjoy a discount as well. See the FAQ for more details.
DML is pleased to announce participation in a pilot program with the publishers of PLOS Medicine a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal covering the full spectrum of the health sciences.
As a result of this partnership, Georgetown University Medical Center authors can take part in the PLOS Community Action Publishing (CAP) pilot program. PLOS CAP is a new publishing model with the aim to eliminate the $4,000 per article Open Access author publication fees. For the PLOS Medicine CAP pilot, a discount is extended to non-GUMC co-authors as well. See the FAQ for more details.
