Good news for GUMC authors: DML added two new Open Access agreements this summer, making it easier to publish open access.

Frontiers – Corresponding authors get 20% off APC costs on any Frontiers journal, through the end of 2026. See details

Lippincott Williams & Wilkins – Corresponding authors in covered journals get their APC costs waived entirely, while funding lasts. See details

Two things to keep in mind:   If a grant already covers APCs, please use that funding first as it helps these limited funds go further for authors who lack grant support.   As agreement terms can affect eligibility, take a look at the details before the article is submitted to ensure coverage.
