DML Rolling Network Outage

UIS has contracted with a work team for a mandated upgrade of network cabling in DML. This will mean “rolling network outages” affecting the wired data jacks in the building.

Accordingly, networked PC’s, printers, and copiers – any device connected to a networked jack – will be unavailable for @ two hours sometime during the period 7:30 am – 5:00 pm Tuesday 02 June through Friday 05 June.
It is possible that the project will extend Monday 08 June through Friday 12 June if necessary.
Wireless service will be fully operational during the rolling outage.

We have no reliable way of predicting which devices will be impacted when, but they believe that when a network connection is being upgraded, you’ll lose use of it for 2 hours.
