Alumni Access to the Library

Georgetown University Alumni may visit the Dahlgren Memorial Library, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. excluding University holidays.

Current photo identification is required to enter the library. Upon entry, you will be asked to leave your ID with the front desk. You will receive a temporary 'Visitor' badge that you should carry or wear while you are in the library. Upon exit, you may pick up your ID from the front desk.

Alumni Access to Full-text Articles and Books

Alumni can access the following databases with your Georgetown University NetID and password (See below for Alumni NetID help):

  • Academic Search Premier
    Provides full text for 4,486 publications (3,718 peer-reviewed) covering academic areas of study including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, and ethnic studies. A total of 8,224 titles are abstracted and indexed, of which 7,132are peer-reviewed.
  • Annual Reviews
    Comprehensive and timely critical reviews of the most significant primary research literature for 33 disciplines in the Biomedical, Life, Physical, and Social Sciences. Written by leading scientist, Annual Reviews publications are among the most highly cited in scientific literature.
