Services for Researchers : Multimedia Computer Lab for Faculty

The multimedia computer lab at the Instructional Design and Development (ITDD) division of the Faculty and Curriculum Support (FACS) Center is designed to promote the integration of emerging instructional technologies into the Medical and Nursing School curricula. The lab is open to GUMC faculty and staff who develop web or multimedia projects related to teaching and research activities. The lab workstations are optimized for developing web-based online courses and interactive multimedia course materials.

The computer lab provides the four stations specialized four main multimedia activities - Audio, Video, Animation, and Graphics. Each of the multimedia stations has a main purpose to perform one of those activities. Contact Taeyeol Park to request one-on-one training for the software and hardware at the lab stations.

Location
The computer lab is located off the main hall of the Preclinical Science Building, ground floor (GM-6), and just across the hall from the Dahlgren Library entrance and the medical Bookstore. Faculty and staff may use the lab Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
