uCentral (Unbound Medicine)
Through Unbound's uCentral, there is access to the following four resources, either on the Web or your PDA:
- 5-Minute Clinical Consult
- Diagnosaurus 2.0
- Harrison's Manual of Medicine, 17th Edition
- Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary, 21st edition
Installation Steps
- Click the above uCentral link. If you are on campus, you will automatically proceed to uCentral. If you are off campus, please login (with your last name and GoCard number) through the proxy server.
- Select the PDA link and register your account (please use your Georgetown email)
- As part of the registration process, you will be asked if you’d like to download to your device.
- If you are at your computer, you can select ‘iPhone/iPod Touch’, and iTunes will start. Download the application and install onto your device by synchronizing with iTunes.
- If you are not at your computer, open the App Store on your device and search for ‘uCentral’. Click install.
- Now that you have uCentral on the device, open the application. You will be asked for the username and password you created earlier.
- Confirm access to uCentral resources (Five Minute Clinical Consult, Diagnosaurus, Harrison’s Manual of Medicine, and Taber’s Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary).
