A broad introduction to Blackboard for faculty who are new to Blackboard. Skills covered include configuring a course site, posting content, managing users and course content, and linking external web sites. Several features will be explored in more depth in other workshops.

Hands-on training on how to add PowerPoint presentations and various media, including images, audio, and video clips into your Blackboard course site. Familiarity with Blackboard is recommended, but not required.

An introduction to the discussion board and built-in email including group creation and management. An exploration of the skills for dispensing assignments, creating and deploying quizzes or exams integrated with the course gradebook, Grade Center, and analyzing and managing students' test results and grades.
