Want to post a GUMC announcement?

Dahlgren Library now provides the GUMC community with the opportunity to advertise events or announcements on our ECB (Electronic Communication Board) - the large monitor above the Information Services desk as you enter the library. 


Simply follow these procedures, and your announcement will be visible to all library patrons!


o   Announcements must be submitted to dmlecb@georgetown.edu
o   Only announcements submitted by Georgetown University / Hospital affiliates will be posted to the ECB.
o   For timely processing, announcements should be submitted 1 week prior to the event. Announcements will be updated every Wednesday; therefore, all announcements must be submitted by midnight Sunday.
o   Announcements must be submitted in PowerPoint:
    -  Each file should represent one event.
    -  The slide must include:
        ·         the sponsor and contact information for the event.
        ·         a date, time and location for the event.
    -  If changes need to be made to a slide, contact dmlecb@georgetown.edu
o   If an event is canceled, it is the responsibility of the event leader to contact the library as soon as possible.
o   DML reserves the right to return a submission if it has inappropriate content or requires clarity.
